Family Owned and Operated Business

Debbie, Steve & Sylvia purchased the property in 2019 after searching for a number of years for the perfect place to start a family business. Once we found it, we didn’t want to leave. We want to share the unique beauty of Secret Lake with our guests, making it a destination you can come back to time and time again.

Our goal is to provide you with what you need for a fun and relaxing bush and lake experience located within the Clarence Valley. We are here to provide help and provide advice about the Secret Lake Retreat or surrounding area's including Yamba, Clarence River, Lawrence, Northern Rivers, Maclean, Grafton, Ashby, Coffs Harbour, Brooms Head,  Ballina, Casino, Lismore, Byron Bay, Red Rock, Woolgoolga. All within 1.5h drive from Secret Lake Retreat.

Now to introduce the Family,

Deb and Scott (Mother and Son), run the daily operations of the park, Scott will be primarily seen outdoors and Deb will most likely be in reception or attending to her many gardens.

Little Myla (Sylvia and Steve's) daughter, enjoys Secret Lake more than anyone. She is the first in the water, and the last one out.

You will see Holly and Sam (Dog) around who help manage Secret Lake. Holly is super friendly, so if you have any questions or issues let her know!

"Dick" Richard Leadbetter

Dick was a mentor for Secret Lake. But above all, a best friend, and genuine great bloke that only tried to help the people he cared about. RIP "Dick"

Finally, we also want to give thanks to many local tradies and people who have welcomed and helped us immensely along the journey building up this business from scratch. A special mention to two hardworking and time-generous people: Steven Hawke and Keith Rooke. They have given us so much advice to get this place up and running. We feel honoured to call them friends.
